GT-R Slow Motion

This was a project for my cinematography class. I just so happened to be going to the AutoClub Speedway in Fontana, California to help DSPORT Magazine gather footage for the IDRC drag racing finals when given this assignment. Enjoy.

This was shot with the SONY PMW-EX1 at 60fps. The Nissan R33 GT-R belonged to the publisher of DSPORT Magazine, Michael Ferrara. It has upwards of 1200hp and is capable of 9 second quarter miles.
